Awesome or Idiot?
Against all better judgement I went out and rode today. Now then, it's been drizzling rain all day(it cleared up to a heavy sprinkle), and I have been stuck inside for about a week. It's 40 degrees outside, and I hope on my 200es. I run a few sloppy trails, and come across dozens of huge puddles, the deepest being about 2-2 1/2 feet deep. Guess who decided he wants to ride through them? It was clean clear water at least, not muddy.
But guess who has a clean Big Red now?
Worst part was having to ride the mile home after all that, I was SOAKED head to toe, came in and showered to warm up, and am now chugging cough syrup to knock out any oncoming cold.
Total. Stress. Releif.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.
