My opinion is if you can drive it in a reasonable fashion (like it starts, stops and brakes) but needs some work $500 is a good deal for almost any of the full suspension trikes. You can usually find some of the hardtails for less that run but the 250SX is a great trike. You'll really like it. After having the 250ES I'd love to have a 250SX that was modified more for sport use.

I told him 500 so he will hold it. Remember he could relist and sell it. but he is holding untill i get my Tax return check.
He is very honest well seems like it anyway. Chatted over phone and stuff, But he offered me to ride it, I just asked to hera it he said would be fine to take a spin.

Anyway im riding it before i pay the money so idc.
liek i said if she fires right up like he said she's mine.
    Thanks guys

Hate to ask another one but, forgot to,

shaft driven. And you should take a socket set with you so you can pull the fill bolt off the differential and check the condition of the gear fluid in their. If it looks like diarhea or milk than you can bet you will be rebuilding the diff with fresh bearings/seals. I rebuilt mine before I could even ride it after the ebay auction. Make sure it has the factory 'dashboard' with a KEY to start it. the dash has a green and red light and a key etc. check the oil, make sure IT DOESNT SMOKE. it the motor smokes at start up or after warm when reved or anything like that walk away. The motor is pretty much all your really getting. Make sure it shifts and rides around smoothly, see that it goes in reverse. Everything looks like it will need to be replaced prettuy much; fork seals, seat cover/foam, plastics, tires/wheels,

    Lol Thanks ATCad

" fill bolt off the differential"

? Not sure what that is, But ill give it a go and check if i find it, I mean if if smokes i could also just get a Top end rebuild kit for 100 bucks off ebay for her right?
Maybe even bore it out while im at it, Thought about .040 over but what would that take me to in HP ?

Idk still getting use to this 3 wheeler thing.. Thanks guys,, This can be closed if needed now..

$500 seems a lot for that trike. Even if it starts and runs it looks pretty ragged out. Putting a top end on the right way with proper boring and a decent piston could be upwards of $200 with the machine work. You should find out if the electric start works too and all the lights. If none of that works its barely a $400 trike, it's not worth its weight in gold.
If it aint old I dont want it!
