Probably not, who would be asking $1900 and then sell it at auction for $500. Just so you know I went up 2 sizes on my jets for winter and now it starts great.

well I don't have any jets for it I'm going to try to take it apart today and clean it just so I know it's clean and I'll change the fuel out. we'll see how far I get I've never take on of these carbs apart before.

Pretty simple, if you have taken apart any motorcycle or ATV carbs they are all pretty similar. If you have a good aftermarket sled or motorcycle shop you should be able to bring in your jets while they are out, they can sell you a couple larger sizes. Jets only run a couple bucks each.

Really good deal. Shes a keeper. I would just pop the head off and see what size piston she is on and what shape its in just for kicks. Then again that cost me a pile for what I found on my 81R.

I just got done cleaning the carb it had some crap in the bottom of the bowl it must have been sitting a while. I forgot to pull the plug to see if it's any good. It's 30 out now I tryed kicking it over for a while and it still wouldn't fire so I'll check tomorrow about the plug but if that ain't it I'll have to call in the calvary. On a better note I now know it has carbon fiber reeds.

Are you getting a spark? Pull the spark plug put it in the boot, holding the boot, ground the end of the electrode to a cylinder head nut and crank the kickstarter with the other hand. You should see a spark arcing from the nut to the spark plug. Make sure you are holding on to the rubber part of the boot or it will shock you.

ok just pulled the spark plug it is a ngk R BPR4ES from what I've seen thats not the right plug its supposed to have a BR8ES. What does this mean as I know nothing about this engines history or the person who owned it. If it has a big bore kit on it does it use that spark plug? Maybe the guy just threw it in there for the heck of it I don't know.

not sure what you are looking for on the parking brake. its the same as a 83-85 200X. all of the brake components are the same as the 200X except the lines I think

Im not sure. I can go look though. they aren't the same. the 250R grab bar doesnt have the round collars at the mounting holes, its just flat
