at the moment i am rebuilding some rear brakes for a few 350x's. these are the pistons out of each. Now, i cannot fathom how people do such things, but i think it was about time for some new pads huh?? Now new pads are what?? 10-25.00 depending on make. A new piston is 70 bucks, and you can only assume the disk cant be in to good a shape at a retail of 250 bucks, thats 320.00 because someone couldnt be bothered to change the pads!!anyone know of any other machines that use the same piston, i dont want to spend 70 on a new one, and finding a used 350 setup for cheap is next to impossible! if i can find a setup with the same piston i could broaden my search a bit. Or if anyone has a junk/frozen caliper for a 350 they dont plan on fixing hit me up!! Anyone know what the material is on the end of the good piston?? some kind of cork??
