No 87's exist, hell MR ATC hasn't even seen one. Your friend is bullshitting, even if the title says 87, the frame says 85 or 86 guarnteed. The only 87's we've seen parts to or parts off of are 350X's, 200X's, 250SX's, and the big red I believe. The 250R is the rare one even if they made one I doubt we would ever see it.

Look in the 250r pic at the right, it says the R can be purchased in Canada in '87. Then look at the graph below the pic. It says '87 250r, read the last thing, it says Available in Canada only.
