Well now that I've found the mark(if that is the mark)it's not that hard.
Just don't know why the mark is a circle A
Is there more than 1 mark on wheel?

Yes, there is a T and an F. They are on the outside edge of the flywheel. Have you downloaded the manual?

The "T" mark should be on your Rotor. or flywheel..
Not really sure what your problem is anymore?
There is deffenitly a "t" mark idk keep trying an reading the manual u will get it..

Also remember u must realign the Cam sprocket.

finally found the T mark. Its not that hard when you know where to look and you know what your looking for.I was looking for a letter on the wide silver part of flywheel, and I was expecting it to be straight up and down, not sideways. If someone would have explained to me to look beyond wide silver part of flywheel to tiny strip behind it,and look for the letter to be sideways that might have helped.I've attached pic of where I was looking and all I saw was an A with a circle around it,i wasnt looking in the right place.Where I drew the A was where I was looking, not the small rim behind it.

Neither one, the cam isn't installed at this point. You are just at TDC. Then install the cam lining up the "o" mark with the notch on the valve cover, then you should be TDC on the intake stroke.

If you pull the spark plug and place a straw in in it, "T" is easy to find but it's a FOUR STROKE. You have to find "T" on the compression stroke and if the book makes no sense, I won't either.......

I'm currently timing a Corvette with another member adding allot of HP. Never touched one before; We read the book, watched the valves and used are heads together............ It's no different than a 350X aside from 8 pistons instead of one!

I believe he is trying to line up the cam sprocket. There is no "intake or exhaust" TDC when you are lining up the sprocket. Just put the "T" mark up, and then line up the sprocket. I just got done rebuilding my 84 200x motor, so this is all fresh in my mind.
If you are trying to find TDC on the intake stroke with the cam sprocket installed(correctly), the trigger will be under the pulse generator on the intake stroke.

Yea not to worry about Compression stroke or exhaust. If your replacing cam sprocket, DO what riverrat said line the flywheel at TDC with the T mark, And install sprocket and line it up. So its all lines up together when at TDC, Cdi is a different story thats there teh F comes in

no what your saying makes sense. But let me get this straight,if you have the "T" lined up in the hole that doesnt neccesarily mean its at top dead center on the compression stroke?
And i do have cam installed at this point for those that were wondering

Correct, you could be 180 out on the exhaust stroke. You will know you are on the compression stroke if the valves are closed and you are able to move the rocker arms just a little bit.
