found one but its pricey. how about this i give you a good target and take the trike if you decide to shoot it. we dont want a perfectly non cdi running trike getting shot now.

Try typeing ''yamaha 225 cdi'' on ebay. does no one on here have a spare one? put a want ad in the classifieds. are you sure its the cdi thats bad?

Yes It is the CDI Had it tested by two different places. Tried the ebay thing and got nothing for a DR. Have been asking on here for 6 months. And did the classifieds. Still nothing! I dont understand why the only things that are different between the DR and the DX are that one has reverse and the other doesnt, and the cdi is different. Can get CDI for a Dx all day cheap! Not one CDI for a DR

have you tryed a dx one just because the part # diff doesnt mean it wont work , ihave a cdi off quadmoto 225 on a dx no prob , its worth a try ,
