that was what i was thinking when i seen it. if it mounts on to the racks would take up most of the rack space and waste the space. would be neat if it mounted of the back of the rack and tire would hang off the back end with out hogging all the rack space

why not just carry a plug kit and a co2 tire inflating tool? Would take up a heck of a lot less room. and a lot less time to make a fix.
