I've heard that too. red is heavier, more stable, driveshaft, reverse, elec start and no real kick starter gear issues and will pull a full sized truck across the gravel. auto/centrif clutch

200x, manual clutch, way lighter and more nimble but not nearly as useful for around the farm type stuff.

They're both extremely cool, depends on what your main use / need is.

The Bigred is a great work machine and good a slow to medium trail riding. The 200X is a great trail bike for slow to fairly fast (as long as not trying to stay with 250R's or 350X's) that's good at hitting jumps and playing around on. I have not been ridden my 200X back to back with a Bigred but, it definitely feels faster then my 250SX.

I would say that too. I hear a lot of people say how the 250ES is so fast. Feels like its geared really low to me. But its a great trike. And if you get good at throwing your weight around. The 200X will basically refuse to do any work around the farm or property. Unless work is hauling a six pack around while riding wheelies.

A 200x will bury the Big Red 250es speed wise.

Man that's what I was thinking. My 200X hasn't been running since summer so I haven't been able to compare it to the 250ES but my first thought on the 250ES is shouldn't I have another gear if this thing is as fast as everyone says, can I just upshift one more time.

What are you guys talking about when you say "faster"? Acceleration or top speed? the 200X will out accelerate a Big Red - but I think top speed the playing field is pretty even - IF both are in stock form that is!

The book top end of a Br is 55mph. Never tried it though!
