    IF YOU TAKE THE PRELOAD OFF CAN YOU FILL THE SHOCK UP WITH NITROGEN? THANKS

    Do you mean - If you loosen up the spring can you add nitrogen?? The spring has no effect on the nitrogen which by the way is like 250 PSI plus. If you need nitrogen you also need seals, new oil and a thorough breakdown, inspection and cleaning. Maybe you've already rebuilt it? But if you haven't you can't just add oil or gas to fix it up.     no the spring is fine i took the preload off the shock and when i put back on it has alot of rebound.
