I guess if its like most early model Quadzillas the phrase, "Thar she blows!" really applies.
If you buy a Zilla then don't mess with anything except the 89 or 90 models. The 89 and 90 models recieved some very well needed refinements. Mine is a 1990 model and its never given me any trouble in 5 years....of course I don't ride it much either...ha ha!!
I do prefer the stock look myself...but to each his own!
