    Parts Question

    Hi,

In my second childhood I am satisfying my 1st childhood's want of a 3 wheeler. I have bought an 85 200x. Parts on e-bay are so much cheaper than OEM from the dealer, I have to ask--- are they worth a damn? Specificaly, I need a timing chain. 80 bucks at Honda, 20 bucks on e-bay.... one brand was DID-- can anyone recomend that brand?

Yes.. DID has been around forever. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that DID actually makes some of the OEM timing and drive chains..
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

I agree dcreel, DID is just fine.

I have been doing a project on my trike, my dad works at a dealer and even with his discount ebay (after market in general) is most of the time cheaper.

    DID is a great chain.

But be very aware of the 520 drive chains, carbs, calipers, throttles, brake pads etc; Many are being reproduced and they are not the same quality that lasted 25 years before..........
