I wouldn't. I use PB incredibly often, and love the stuff, but nothing beats a can of good carb cleaner.
Can - yes
Should -No
Is it any good to clean a carb - Not nearly as good as Carb Cleaner.

pb blaster is mostly for freeing rusted bolts and other parts i have never tried cleaning with it. never know it might be a good cleaning liquid.

In my experience, it doesn't do that good for carbs, but its wonderful to have around.
When I first bought my first parts FL250 Oddy, it had been sitting outside for about 20 years(AT LEAST), with a couple cans of PB, I had it completely stripped, with ZERO broken bolts or anything, it works wonders.

PB Blaster: around $5.99
And PB Blaster will not clean the carb.

hoppes #9 gun cleaning solvent for the brass jets, 18 to 24 hrs. dont even have to use a wire, just blow out an ya done. Brass jets look bright. If you ever use it you will never switch back. Its what we use on aircraft fuel injectors.

No i wouldnt do it. There could be particles that stick and boom there it goes when u start it.. Just get sum carb cleaner

Well I did spray a little bit on it. Not a very good cleaner. I now have carb cleaner I bought today at lunch. Now its raining and I have no shop to rebuild it!
