    maier red vs oem

how does the texture and color of the new maier compare to the 86 250R plastic that came WITH the machine? I've bought-en new tank scoops that were re runs along with a headlight shroud both were new and totaly differnt shades and a near perfect set of re run rear fender that were also quite differnt in color The only thing I really am looking for is the rear fenders because I need to trim them to fit around my heel guards

As a person who has one side maier, and one side OEM on his '85 BR, the maier is glossier looking, smoother, and a few shades darker. But you can't really tell in the sun, but you get inside and it's obvious.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

Factory OEM R plastic had a tint of orange to it.
Maier is more of a cherry red.
But some of the later OEM replacement Honda stuff was more cherry too.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

There rathracing for a 09 trx450r so are the pegs then the adaptors were from Jason hall. I bought the guards, pegs and kick ups from Jannsen motorsports.http://www.janssenmotorsports.com/ and Rath http://www.rathracing.com/ There is fabbing to do on the guards but nothing to do on the original frame. I have to make brackets to bolt to the rear master cylinder bracket and the upper chainguard on the other side. I like the way they look Talk to Joel @ Jannsens mention Jeff Blackburn with the 250R three wheeler. I got my RPM +4 Dominator axle there too..

On my 85 BR, the color was off enough from my Maier front and rear fenders, and trunklid, that I had the side covers and tank painted to match the Maier red...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!
