    wider hubs for a 200x

are their any aftermarket hubs or other honda hubs that will widen up a 200x? i found some info saying that 300ex hubs would work but i wanted to ask first. also i though the 300ex and 400ex hubs are the same size so maybe i can also look for 400ex hubs.
    thx

300EX or 400EX will widen it about 2 inches..

Here is a pic of our old 200x with 400EX hubs

    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

Yes, the 400ex hubs work. On ebay you can get some aftermarket Billet Aluminum hubs that make the 400 3.5 inches wider so imagine what it will do to a 200x. I am ordering a set for both my 200x and 185s. PLus you get the added benefit of a 4x110 bolt pattern so you can find all kinds of cool wheels. Oh and the hubs are around $80 including shipping.

Yes, the stock wheels will bolt on to the 400ex hubs. You didn't say which year 200x you are talking about though. I'm talking about the 83-85 200x. The 86-87 200x's are a completely different animal. The bolt pattern is the same (4/110) but I'm not sure the spline counts of the axles are the same.

Rob, definitely the best view of the difference between the 2. All of the posts on this topic, and that's the first time I've seen a picture like that. Awesome.. My 200x had 4/130 hubs on it or I would have..

I took that pic last month when I swapped my hubs out. I figured it would come in handy at some point since this question gets asked quite a bit.
