    how do you guys ride on trails with deep 2 track ruts?

    well, i'm excited to get my 200x out on the local trails but am curious how it will be to ride in the deeply rutted trails. I used to take a sport quad through and straddle a rut but i think that will be impossible with a trike. Any sugestions or comments?

    i always try and keep the front tire between the two ruts and movie my weight around from one side to the the other side to keep tracking on the back tires

    I added 1.5" wheel spacers to the back of my BR, and now its tracks pretty good on the ruts...
    No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

    i seem to usually drop two wheels in a rut and that will put the other on top and i can usually power through.

    taller rear tires are the best bet to avoid high centering...I hate rutted trails like that.

    I keep my front wheel in the higher side rut... it feels like an extended power slide

    i love deep ruts in snow on corners i put my front tire in the inside rut and hit the gas its like the trikes on a train track

    That technique works really well but only on tight turns. And after, you need to get your front wheel in the middle of the 2 ruts quick.

    you must be thinking of smaller ruts the ones on the trails around here are deep and you have to get used to going a little sideways even on a staight road cause 2 wheels are in the same rut its a little wierd when the snow is gone i put my front wheel in the middle

    It's the opposite for me, deep ruts during summer and small during winter so I though you were talking about small snow ruts.
    Maybe I'm not understanding well... punctuation would've help me understand.
