i give up.im going to find somewhere to take my trike to fine tune it.it cranks right up and idles fine but when i ride down the driveway and get to the end and take off it sputters,so im not really sure if your supposed to speed shift or what.i got it up to 4th gear a few times and it seemed to run ok but its just not right.

i took the carb and soaked it in cleaner and replaced the carb little rubber hoses,and im not sure if all of them need to hang down below the shock to avoid gas and oil getting on the bike.i bought it from a guy on here and it was in orange california now its here in texas.he had it bored out with a 76.44 mm piston and also he rode it a couple times on the street with NO AIR FILTER so when i got it, i put a k&n cone air filter on it.plus the air and everything is different here than california.

he had it at 16:1, i tried that then switched the plug and the mixture to 32:1.nothing new,still does it.i havent ridden it since i cleaned the carb yesterday cause its raining now and tomorrow too.but if anyone knows about the hoses if all of them run down low or does one need to run up under the seat,kinda like the crankcase breather.im just tired of it not running right and i dont know anything about jetting.with the aftermarket pipe and piston im sure its gotta be jetted to some extent.
i also checked the gas cap hose and you can blow thru it.and see thru it.so i dont know.
