250sx rear end replacement.

Ive got a line on a 250sx with a buggered rear end, My question is will the 200 big red shaft drive rear end fit onto this bike.

Hi James - this will not work. The 200 Big Red has a completely different style gear box on the rear. A 250 Big Red, however, is a direct swap out.

Ok, yeah a buddy of mine has an sx he wants to give me for 200 bucks so i guess id have to find a big red 250.hmmm

The es has a lower gear ratio, to make up for the 25" tires.You will lose a little top speed on your sx.

ahhh good point.The es is more of a work bike i guess.thanks for that info didnt think of that.

you really wont notice a diffrence plus now just put 25s on it and you have more ground clerance.

Will look kinda silly with a 22'' tire up front and big 25's on the back.
