    I had to make the trade

    Today i traded my fairly newly acquired 85 200x. decent running shape, one exhaust bolt broken in the head and a small crack in the rear plastic. For an 85 bw200, fresh rebuild on the engine, the guy had all the documentation of the work done.

    I had to make the trade, How do you think i did?

    I don't know.. toss up.. You have to ride it, how do you think you did? How do you like the Big Wheel? I'd pick one up if I found one near me..

    The small amount that i have driven the bike i really enjoyed, a little slow upon takeoff but lots of torque. Seems like a solid bike

    What kinda tire could i put on the rear? The original is bald and dry cracked

    Here is a pic after i cleaned it up a bit at the carwash. The plastics seem to be in good shape they just need to be sanded. Needs new front fender and seat cover. Any exhaust options for these bikes?

    Yes i did i will admit, although i figured that since i have had my 86 200x that bikes comes first and is a way better ride. I had to do it, i never see these big wheels come up for sale around where i live.

    I'd have made the trade as well.

    I wouldn't have traded if it was something I was going to have to ride but I would say the BW is worth more, so from a value point of vieew I would say you did well. I've ridden FatCats (never the Yamaha) and just didn't like them.

    i would have said that i wouldnt have done it, BUT... since u say u already have an '86 200X then yeah i would have done it. u need to include that bit of the story into the first post. u might get friendlier replies, i mean u r on 3 WHEELER WORLD. if u ask "did i do well or not?" and anyone reading just sees, "got rid of my 3 wheeler for something with 2 wheels......"
