    carb question

    hello

I think my carb is not working right when i crank the engine over and check the plug the plug is not wet. i had cleaned the carb VERY well i uses a compresser and blow air thru the passgaes,jets,etc... my engine now has 150 psi compression and when turning it over i can feel the "sucking" when i put my hand over the carb. my question is what iam missing in the carb that is not making the gas go thru... i know my plug should be nice and wet right?

    thanks

No, the plug should not be wet, that means it is flooding out. Make sure there is plenty of fuel in tank, fuel valve is on, good fuel line and good clean filter.

Gas should be getting to the plug unless the float and needle is stuck in the up position in which case gas will not go into the carb.

You should be able to blow air through the inlet of the carb when the float is in the down position and shouldn't be able to blow air through the inlet of the carb when the float is in the up position.

If the carb is getting gas the engine should flood after a few pulls with the choke on unless it starts.
