Drilling holes in my new piston ????

ok I'm pretty sure I figured out what an exhaust bridge is but correct me if I'm wrong it is a thin strip of casting that runs down the middle of the exhaust port ( like a bridge duh) and the holes are supposed to lubricate this thin strip of metal. Well I don't have one of those so does that mean I don't need to do this since I don't have an exhaust bridge. I think I was getting worried for nothing. hehe

when i rebuilt one of my FL350 odysseys. i drilled 3 holes in the piston exactly where the exhaust bridge is. i also had the cylinder re-sleeved and has the exhaust bride relieved. this a built motor with thinner head gasket, bigger carb, v-force reeds, reed spacer, intake, and performance pipe and silencer. the holes were for extra cooling there, it allows oil to go through them and lube that part of the piston skirt and cylinder wall.

yes that is the bridge, if u dont have one then u r fine.
