    Ebay 350x bolt kit ?

Has anyone use one of the ebay bolt kits for the 350x. I really don't want to go through the hassle of cleaning every bolt and nut on my bike when it goes back together. My only concern is that they aren't the same head design and might look funny.

Just looking for some input from those that might have used them.

ive used the stainless 350x bolt kit and it worked fine only thing is there polished allen head bolts that might fit you theme. On my last build FlyingW over at org has oem bolts he had zinc plated and put together a 350x kit .So that way you have new looking oem bolts .Or if you have a plater in your area you might check to see what they charge its normally by the pound

Do you know if he still offers the oem bolt kit? Are the allen head bolts in the ebay kit for the engine? Because I think that would look good with allen head fasteners for the side cases and engine dress.

My X has a kit from the fastnerguy. It's well worth the money. there are some bolts that it doesn't come with though.. The footpeg bolts, swing arm pivot bolt, and a few others. But other than that, it comes with everything. And it's pretty sweet to look at when it's all done..

I ordered mine today. I just got through with tearing my bike completely down and between the broken bolts and the really rusted ones, it was pretty much a no-brainer to get the kit.

I read on the other board they come loose and to use loctite. I myself was unsure weather to never seize or loctite.

^ I've never had a bolt come loose.....

I used Fastner guys kit also - do not use the suspension bolts, they are 10MM x 1.50, instead of the OEM 1.25 pitch; Which is the same issue with the footpeg bolts. He ought to just leave them out. Reportedly the suspension bolts are not strong enough for other suspension applications (like a bolt furnished with a nut)

Make sure ever fastner is long enough or not too long. He is buying 6MM x 1.0 x 5mm,10mm,15mm,20mm,25mm and if you call for a 22 or 27mm you may have an issue. Every bolt should be checked for the standard rule. 8mm bolt has to use at least 12mm of thread length holding. Diameter x 1.5 is the rule..........

Also, I'm sure Tank meant to say that it does not come with a swinger bolt, OEM only.
