Relax on the double posting.. The only person who can answer the above question is you. How good are you on a Tri-Z? Can you use all of the power in all situations? How long have you been riding 3 wheelers? What do you plan to do with an atc500r? There are some things that a Tri-z 250 can do faster, it all depends on what your plans are... Your user name is krash.. is that because you crash often or is it a joke?

If you think you are ready for an atc500r then only you can prove that to be wrong or right.. It's a monster that will move out in a hurry. Widening it with a wider axle and lengthening it with an extended axle will be good depending on what you want to use it for. When you try to tame one part of the way it handles, it will invariably affect another part of the handling.

1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

If ya gotta ask then it's too much power so in this case the answer is yes, the 500 is too much for you.

i seen some tiny wheelies at the beginning but nothing big, i think he was getting used to the trike before he went full action on it.

He wheelied a bunch of times. The wide angle helmet cam hides the severity of what he is doing. It also makes you look like you are going slower. Like in this video of mine, I was doing around 60mph and the handle bars were almost shaking out of my hands from the craters on the ice, but you can't really tell all that.

Yeah, it's obvious he wheelied a good bit, he stood up with it though, so the camera angle wouldnt jump up too bad. Watch the front fender and you can tell.
