    should i sell it or hold on to it 200x engine

    Hey guys I maybe posting this in the wrong forum, but I want to know what you guys think I should do. I have a 1983 honda 200x. I blow up the x engine and made it an auto x now I have found a guy who is looking for the x engine, should I sell it?? The tranny cam and rings are gone in it and the chain was done some damage to the left case still usable. He says he wants to pay $300 for an engine running or not. thanks for yout time Aaron

    It sounds like your engine is worth about $50 imo. Tranny and top end are toast and he wants to pay $300??

    Probably the fact that your in Canada makes the 200X engine harder to come by. Sure wish I could sell my engine for that much when I Auto-X mine.

    i paid 200 for a good frame with a 225dx motor in it RUNS, got a 200m complete frame with running motor, 200s motor running and a seized 200e motor not running. 300 for a pretty well blown motor? NICE.

    there are 2 200x bikes near me for $200 bucks I'm not interested and the guy has no pics of them. up in the lanark area I'm not sure where you are in Ontario but the bikes are up for grabs. still.
