Why are all my same size tires different?

    22x11x8

I realize some get overinflated and blow their layers but looking to replace a front tire on an sx, I bet I had 10 tires with all the same numbers on them lined up and they all look different.

Some rounded, some flatter and look wider.

Granted they're from 90/110's up thru 85 sx's and br's but I'd like to know what I'm missing when it comes to tires numbers relative to reality.

    Thanks

who knows but it is crazy how much diffrence there is in most 22x11x8 tires! and on the front of a sx it makes all the diffrence in the world on looks/ stance and not rubbing, i like the chen shing 847 its tall and narrow kinda like the stock tire

its more of a guide line for the tire makers than actual sizes they say they make I have a set of 20s here that are as tall as a set of 22s I have. and part of it is the manufacturer every ones a little diffrent.

25x12x9 tires are crazy, put a turfbuster of that size up against a Stryker, and the difference is crazy.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

    Oh, ok, Thanks.

    it's not just me.

Must make it hard to buy mail order unless you know exactly what you want.
Mfg name, numbers, tread style or safest is to line them up side by side in person.

atv tires are not molded the way car tires are. they are way out of balance...actually almost impossible to balance. They are made for long life and to take abuse. They are all different, every tire
