ATC 250r Front Forks ride height? *Pics*
Ok, so I have a 1985 ATC 250r. I posted a picture of it on here awhile ago and someone was telling me that someone must have lowered the front end of my 250r because it is much lower then it should be.
My question is this, could the springs wear out and they just naturally became weak and lowered, could someone have cut them, or could someone have put smaller springs inside?
I know these questions can’t really be answered until I take apart the forks, but I’m just wondering what could have happened.
Another question,
I want to raise the top end since I don’t like sitting so far forward on the seat, which front fork springs should I buy? I want to take the bike to its original ride height. Would this work?

If you have a better suggestion for front fork springs, please let me know. Would buying used from springs of here or ebay be a good alternative? Or would I run the risk of getting worn out springs that could be just as bad?
On an unrelated note…. I traded by 350x for another 1985 ATC 250r.
You can tell the difference between the front forks ride height by looking at both of the pictures… Thanks for all the help!
