I finaly bought a battery for a recently aquired 225 dx,didn't really expect the starter to work but to my amazement it does,the only problem is that it doesn't crank the engine over.I took the starter out an peeked into the hole,I can see (what im going to call a bendix gear) in the case,the starter seems to be turning the bendix gear but its not engaging with the engine. does anyone know if this is an easy fix or is it a deep dish project
