Just the other day, my dad gave me a kz400 twin to toss in a toy. He said if he was going to do anything, he'd put a cb350 engine in it, real light and potent... I should show him this lol.

Anyone want to buy a kz 400 twin ?

This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

Mine is a blast and very loud. It has been very dependable and a great trail bike. It will put around all day and wheely in 4 gears. The speed depends on gearing and I prefer low end to compensate for the weight and to make it more agile. Mine tops out at about 80mph.

It'd be that much to ship the damn thing to me probably. Oh well.

Hey IronBnder, how complicated was the powerplant swap?

It depends on what you start with. I had a 200X frame and it was tuff. The X frames have center verticle tubes that have to be cut out and leaned back to clear the carbs. This changes the entire stress load on the bike and is hard to overcome. The R frames have the center verticle tubs that lay to the back and would be a lot better set up to start with, not to mention they are a little tougher. I used the belly out of the motorcycle and welded it in at the swing arm mounts and under the neck. The hard parts were building the brake lever mount (200X), raising tank and fenders, ect - Just all the other stuff.
