    cleaning used T3 bottomend?

    I blew my original motor and have a spare motor with what seems to be a good bottom end. So what I was thinking was to clean the other bottomend and reassemble and run it like that. I just dont have the funds to perform a correct rebuild so I was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks

    i think you should at least replace the crank bearings and seals...

    Yeah, I completely agree. It's just that I am not experienced enuf to do those things nor do i have the tools. The spare bottom end is together,could i just put some gas in it and clean it out that way?

    oh i thought it was disassembled. yeah douching it out with some diesel or kerosene is probably your best bet.
