    250 sx

What are your coments on the 250sx??? I'm thinking about trading for one. I've been looking for one to have the electric start and reverse. Kind of a woods trike. how do they compare to the 350x in power?

    One HELLUVA machine

They are comparable to an X in power...obviously the X has more HP, but the SX will go anywhere you point it. The SX would be the perfect choice for you. I had one for 4 years and it is still the best machine that I have ever ridden.

I love my sx and Ive decided not to sell it. I think is one of the best and most reliable three wheelers ever made. The only bad thing that honda did when producing the trike was not putting on performance suspension. Now I know that it isnt a total sport trike but with a few mods such as a 350x front end and a different rear shock the sx is one awesome machine. I am looking for a better rear shock for it.

You can't go wrong with an SX. Has all the goodies you need for trail riding. If i had my choice between all of them it would be the SX. As for power,i think it is very good. With a nice ride of the shaft drive.

    sx

i also had one for a year ,,, a near mint one at that. i couldn't find a decent 250 bigred to save my soul so i bought a 85sx.
it is the sport version of the 250es bigred. 1 inch smaller tires on the back ( front - can't remember off hand). it is gear higher in the transmission but still has the granny creaper first gear.
3WheelsForever is so right in the fact that it's suspension lacks alot,,, rather stiff. (not as stiff as my lumber wagon es - lol )
guessing the top speed is around 50 - 53 mph ,,, depending on how far you want to wind the motor up.
decent hill climbimg power up till 3rd gear ,,, if you take a long hill in 3rd you'll be down shifting to 2nd before your done.
defintly a great all around machine + for real tight woods riding it would be hard to top.
you might want to test ride one first blaze ,,, it ain't gonna be no 350x.
is this gonna be for you or a family member ?

Well I think they are one of the best all around trike out there. They have nice suspension for the sporty feel. They have the utilty power and torque and capabilities. I am currently working on 2 of them to get going. Also a good thing is that 250es big red parts work on it too.........peace

    Well, I think I'm pulling the trigger on the trade. I've been offered a 250sx, 2 200x's and a 200s for the 350x. I think it's a good trade. Plus I still have a 350x to rip around on.

That was a nice looking X. Good luck with the SX!

Yeah that was a nice bike, I had fun restoring it. but you can only ride one at a time. I think the sx will be a better trail bike. Plus my girls have a couple 200x's to rip around on.
