Anyone bring their Trike into their apartment

I work 10am-8pm every day, so I don't have time to go anywhere to fix my 200x, so I think tomrorow, I will drain all of the fluids, and roll her up the stairs for the tear down, and repaint (painting wont happen at the apt)

years ago a friend of mine and I were a little lit and were walking through a swapmeet when Ted saw it. A 72 Harley. A roller with 4 boxes of parts and title for $300. Happy as a crackhaed who found 5 bucks on the ground he snached up the Harley and we hauled it away. The buzz was still there when we hit his apt in the city, Philly. Then it hit us.....SHT 5 F-IN floors and no elevator. Talk about a buzz kill. Well we did it and got it up there after a few hours. And let me tell you about the Philly people and the advice they gaves us. well think of the crew from Sunny in Philadelphia helping you out......funny sht man. Well the bike became the center peice of the living room in a small 3 room apt for 2 years. Painted in the bathroom, built the motor on the fire ascape. fired it with a dryer vent tube sticking out the window on a sunday morning. It took 5 of us and 3 hours to get it down but it was worth it. He still has the bike but now has a garage.

Awesome, I love it. i have access to multiple garages, but my apt is climate controlled, and i can drink beer and not have to drive home.

I built my Harley iron head bobber in the dining room. I tore it all of the way down to the frame and re built it my way all from the comfort of my underwear. I used to have 2 of them that I kept in the house for the winter. Got a wife now and she gets to stay in the house and the bike stays in the garage.

Heck, me and my son smell like exhaust 5 days a week when we come in the house from the garage anyhow. Onnie (my 11 year old son) during the cold snap was measuring up the living room and asking how hard is it to take off the rear axel, lol. He was sick of the cold garage and the wear and tear of the abrubt weather changes wearing on this bike, wanted to store it in the house, lol. Lots of guys don't have a shop or access to needed space. I have even washed parts in the tub or sink.
