XR500 cam in a big bore and stroked 350x??????

I know they will work but would it be a benefit on a stroked 350

they open the valves 8 to 10 deg sooner than the 350 cams and they have more lift and duration too Megacycle has alot of specs on the 350 cams and 500 cams. Thats what got me thinking when going over spec's on both engines cams and looking at the stroke and bore on stock 500 compared to a modifyed 350

Im not familiar with the xr500 but i have ran the FT and several others. Yes it will work, but IMO the performance of the cam sucked. This was on a stock bore/stroke bike but extremely built. I acutally only ran it on 2 rides then put the oem cam back in. There was no gain anywhere. It was slower on the drag strip by .3 If you want a performance cam get one, go to web, Megacycle, something like that, you wont see the gain using the oem cams.

I'm not looking at a stock 500 cam. I'm looking at a megacycle/web 500 cam

Megacycle XR500 cams are GREAT in big bore stroker motors.
