1983 250r speed issue

I was wondering what is wrong with my trike because ive clocked my trike with a gps at 70km/h and ive heard of these doing liitle over 60mp/h. is there anything i can do to make it go faster? please respond

ya it should go way faster than that. whats your compression like, what gearing are you running, whats your airfilter look like.

I used to own that pos years ago and it was bagged. That engine probably needs a good rebuild. It needs a new frame to, there is rebar welded on the rear of the frame for a makeshift grab bar.

good compresion, stock gears, and a new uni filter,stock jets and everything, the only things not stock on it is the air filter, crab rebuild kit and new rear bearings.

Mostly b/c of the nostalgia, just some good memories with that bike.
