    My 84R rebuild is just about done !

    Here is what i started with but i lost the seat and fenders on the highway.

    Fresh bore , piston , and mx/woods port n polish
    [IMG][/IMG]
    Fresh wiseco prolite piston , 36mm carb , fl350 intake , free flow uni filter , reed spacer , and Vforce3 reeds.

    New handle bars , grips , all new cables , all new oil seals , ims desert tank , baja grab bar , foot pegs , new sprockets , o-ring chain , correct headlight , and i'm forgetting the rest of stuff . Fired up in 5 kicks and is very responsive and crisp , started idle break in .

    I will be switching the tires and rims up very soon , getting some new rims and holeshot tires for it.(shift lever wasn't on it yet in pictures)

    How do you like the grab bar I've been thinking of getting one of them prm grab bars. I like the looks of them wide style ones then the little skinny stock ones.

    Looking good. Nice tank. Is that the one that was on ebay not long ago. If so, you're lucky I wasn't paying closer attention. I was watching one.

    The only thing i dont like about that grab bar is the silencer blows right on it . I'm going to be putting a sparky tip on it so that will change the direction on exhaust flow alittle. Plus i need a spark arrestor for Michigan trail riding , Thanks guys !

    Sweet looking bike. I just finished breaking in a new top end.I plan to pretty it up soon with paint, stickers and new tires soon.

    oh ya that it gonna suck It would get covered in oil. maybe a guy could tig a little elbow on the end of the pipe like some of the FMF's have and turn the flow down.

    Well i got her broke in and the carb tuned in . Now i have to figure out how to keep the front end down ! lol
