I just search around a little about hid for my bike and I keep running into voltage regulators as fixing the light getting brighter and duller. Havnt found a solution yet, but on the right track.

you can try the motorcycle hid kits im not sure if it will work due to the very low power bike gives out, also for the bulb u can try the sylvania silverstars those might work good for u.

Look into an cree XML-t6 led mod, www.candlepowerforums.com will have plenty of info. I've got a set up that i run on 6 d cell batteries. I haven't installed it yet, but it's a damn nice bright light with a nice spot.
