    pro taper bars

    i might sound stupid but idk and i dont wanna buy something that wont fit.....will pro taper handle bars mount right up on my 85 R or will i have to buy more than just the bars

    o.......i like the look of their bars but i dont want to spend alot of money just to look good.....atleast until i have a job haha

    hahaha i like the look of them but if itll cost more than i got ill just keep my renthal's with my honda bar pad haha

    Make sure you buy the 7/8" bars.. Fat bars or 1 1/8" bars won't work without adapters

    Renthal's are the ones who make the pro taper bars!! IMO THEY SUCK!! I have bent EVERY pair i have ever had. I ride hard tho....for the avg rider i think they would be ok, but me and ALL of my MX buddies wont use them either.

    I use pro taper 7/8 cr low bend.. Personal favorite

    Renthal and Pro Taper are two seperate companies that both make handlebars and grips.

    i think ill stay with my renthals then hahaha i ride pretty hard and dont wanna bend them up or anything

    ...pro taper makes good bars, i got em on my crf, havent bent them yet and i did take some nasty spills.

    I thought renthal owned the pro taper company?? Maybe i am mistaken.
    The renthal bars are the ones that we have all been bending up

    Ok after checking my sources, Easton is the company who makes the Fatbars for Renthal, pro taper, 909....and on. They are all the same bars, just different names on them
