i need the rubber diaphragm in top of the carb for a 1999 polaris sportsman 500.dearship wont sell just this part,they want you to buy the whole asssembly.can someone help me out with this.

Chances are you won't be able to just buy the rubber part. If it comes as an assembly that's the only way to buy it. Do you have any atv junkyards near your place? That'd be your best bet. Or if you find someone parting out a Sportsman on Craigslist.
