    Question Now thats messed up!

My friend was telling me today that when his 84r was running he could take out every screw in the carb and it wouldnt change a thing. what causes this to happen?

Did you mean jets/air or fuel screw?? Maybe you should re-read that and edit the post.

From your post I'm not sure which guy knows better what he's talking about..............

If you took out every screw in the carb it wouldn't be together.......therefore it wouldn't run.....

It needs to be rebuilt, or order a 38mm PWK carb.

the carb to rich or the choke is stuck or it would rev when he pulls the screw and makes a air leak has he ever taken it apart and cleaned it his pilot jet may be sitting in the bottom of the float bowl too what ever it is hes got carb problems
