200x clutch issue on cover with actuator arm or shaft

i have tried and tried to figure out this issue. My roomate was riding my 200x and suddenly the clutch lever went stiff and then clutch remained engaged. I then pulled the cover off and realized what had happened was the shaft rotated inside and then could not rotate. i have pulled the cover off adjusted the clutch springs and checked the spring and no matter what it is stiff everytime i finish assembly. I am begging for some kind of help on this matter because i am lost and so frustrated. What is causing this and what can i do to fix this.. this has been this way for about a year. please please please!!!!

what is happening is the shaft spins off the machined area that should be always against the end of the clutch shaft

The pivot and collar are probably worn out or the clutch itself, he pulled the cable in and it may have went past it's working rotation.

How do you "adjust clutch springs"????? They are either tight or not tight, no adjustment there................
