Siezed swingarm bolt - on an 84 250R that was blown up, partialy parted out, and left outside for 15 years in the weather to die. That is the R that I bought. That swingarm bolt was a real biotch. I used heat, penetrating oil, and a real big railroad track sledge , 25lbs plus easy. After at least 100 hits, it started to budge.

Not so much frustrating but to me, more incredible as to how many things you need to take apart and get out of the way on the P-3 (Polaris trike) to replace the starter.
A couple of bolts are easy to get to. Then you start taking off side cases (both sides), clutchs and all sorts of unrelated stuff just to get the starter off.
I strongly feel they built the whole machine around the starter.

Replace tracks, drive gears, undercarriage rollers and all pins and bushings on the 6-way blade of a JD450g dozer.....LOTS of siezed bolts that broke when attempting to unscrew. LOTS of time getting to know a cutting torch, 1" rosebud and welder....not a fun job and Im glad i dont turn wrenches for a living anymore. I would gladly work on the most stubborn trike ever than do that kind of extensive work on a dozer again!
    Trikes:
    '85 ATC 350R
    '85 ATC 250R
    '86 ATC 350X
    '85 ATC 350X
    '84 ATC 200ES Big Red
    '84 ATC 125M
    '85 ATC 110
    '85 ATC 70/110

How about Change the back three plugs and wires on a Buick Rendezvou with the back plug wires stuck on. You gotta let go the dog bone top motor mounts and pull the motor forward allowing you just enough room to scrape my big hands in there. Now introduce a knife to the little space your hands take up and cut the old plug boots off and replace the plugs. I swear the motor belongs on the floor for such a job. Even a little Japanese man would find this task hard.

Try doing the lower intake manifold gaskets in the same machine.... i swear the devil was the man that designed that POS engine... who ever thought that it was a good idea to have the valve train pushrods go through the intake manifold should be analy probed with the pushrods from every one of those ever built.... 6 hours of taking shiz off to do a 10 min gasket change then having to reset the entire valve train and put the whole thing back together....

Right now coating a Bultaco cylinder and head, but that's cause it what I did tonight, lol. Those are some deep cooling fins on that jug and the steel sleeve was causing the powder to back ionize, it took 2 hours to mask them and I'm working with a new system. I blew the powder back off the jug 5 times before I got the system set up to get deep into the fins.
