    Yt175

Fun 1 for you guys. I've been jetting my 175, seemed to be running pretty good - haven't done the plug chops yet though.

After 30 minutes or so of riding hard, i put it in nutural, hit the gas a little. The engine reved up as high as it would go. I hit the kill switch and it did not die. I pulled the spark plug wire, and it did not die.

I turned the gas off and it died when it ran out of fuel.

Anyone think it was running to lean and got red hot, igniting the fuel without spark?

Sounds like an extreme lean condition. Better do your plug chop

No joke.. Using blaster carb in a heavily ported cylinder and boysene super stock reed(equivalent).
Had a 240 main, then stuck a 300 in, and damn, i might need a 350 or something lol.

Sounds like you have a bad crank seal or head gasket leak. Best thing to do when they rev out of control is shove a towel in the air box or cup the carb if you can get to it.

This has happened twice, the first time, i didn't grab the plug wire, later found a kill switch was broke - thought that was it + stuck throttle.

2nd time.. welll it continues to run lol.

The issue was where i ported my transfers to far without checking(trust me, i feel like a tard) It blew out my base gasket, checked and it was leaking around the sides. I had it sealed up with jbweld, passed all the leak down.. but liek i just said, jbweld lol.

My next cylinder - im not f'ing it up and I'm going to be taking more time with the port job, making it bigger, meaner and more awesome. I'll try to get a vid of it in it's current state. So you can see what it does

I also beleive the pipe is to restrictive, causing heat to be help in. After all, it isn't designed to breath like so with a ported cylinder, I'll end up cutting the baffles out i bet.
