    Project Duo. 2 350x restorations

The pictures don't do it justice, but this is the build I've been working on for a couple months now. My friend Charlie is also doing the same with his 350x, so we should have some really nice bikes when we're done.

    New parts:
    PRM Engine Skid
    PRM Swinger Sid
    PRM Grab bar
    Powder coat frame, swinger.
Powdercoat everything else myself (dang electric bill was 245 bucks this month.)
New All balls Bearings all around.
    Motor has been painted
    Stainless steel bolt kit
DirtCrasher made headlight guard and airbox ring (Amazing work, can't brag it up enough)

My bike was in better shape than charlies to start, that poor guy basically bought every part new. Heres some pics!

Did some small powdering and polishing this weekend, but thats pretty much the way she sits. I'd like to repaint my tank yet too.

Also picked up another project, can you guess what it is?

I need to get a better camera, I was afraid to post such crappy pictures, but I'm to excited not to share. Will also get pics of Charlies next time I'm at his house.

    Cheers,

    Lew

Got my triples polished tonight, the pictures just don't do it justice. Its not perfect by any means, but its pretty close to what I wanted. I don't know if it was because I didn't have the right tools, but I don't envy anyone who does that for a living.

Still need to get some pictures of the other bike we're doing, maybe tonight if all goes well.

Also we're looking for seat foam, and a good working kickstart lever.

    Looks really good man.

I'm curious if the powder coat in the hubs is going to affect anything.

If you're worried about the powder that got into the splined area, I did a test fit right after the part cooled. I didn't have any problems with the hub going onto the axle. Is there something else that I overlooked that I should worry about? I tried to go avoid that area as best as possible, its probably only a really light dusting.

I have a different camera here at the house I just put batteries in, I'll give it a shot tonight.
