Will a piston for a 83-87 YZ250 fit an 85 Tri-z? The oem YZ is 560M06875. The Tri-z oem Wiseco is 515M6875 I believe. I thought they were the same pistons but maybe not. This is not the STD but about the 3rd bore up.

i think the piston in the tri z is the same as the it250, not the yz.on the yz piston the wrist pin sits .015 higher and the top of the dome is .055 higher than a tri-z piston.

look in world class help above! and it will list all compatiable parts. And why chance it when a piston is only $135 for everything piston, rings, pin, clips, gaskets, only thing missing is wrist pin bearing!
