    2 wire voltage regulator

I have what I believe to be a Moose Racing V/R:

I want to put it on my Tecate, so I don't fry my light bulbs (ricky stator lighting coil- popped a couple of bulbs already), but I can't find any diagrams of the wiring process, nor can I really find any info on how to properly wire it up.

From what I have read, the yellow wire gets hooked into the positive lead coming from the lighting coil, then the negative goes to ground on the frame. Does this sound right?? I want to make sure I get this right before I pop any more bulbs, or possibly kill my lighting coil.

You are correct on the wiring. Use a zip tie to hold the unit to the frame some where.
I have wired a bunch of these and they work great.
