    84 250R questions (2)

    3 questions:

    1. After running bike for short time today I noticed fuel dripping from back of carb. Appears this should have a line on it? Should this be dripping fuel (I'm assuming not)?

    2. In an effort to disassemble and get the rattle fixed in my headlight I cannot get this final bolt out (pictured - phillips head) - any suggestions? It just turns and doesn't seem to catch anymore.

    3. Am I missing any significant part on the brakes (see pictures)?

    Thanks!

Your rear brake is missing the parking brake part that runs up to the bars. Mines missing that to seems to have been popular to take off I'm still looking for one.

As for the carb mine had the same problem turns out there was a piece of crap holding the float valve open just a hair from closeing so fuel would run out. Yes there should be a line there it's your overflow.

On the headlght the threads on the bezel must be striped out on that screw. Try a pair of visegrips and pull out on it while twisting it out.
