Simple: Can I take the intake, and carb, off of an 86 200X, and directly swap it onto my 84 200es?

Determined the X intake will not work, so I am gonna have to try and find a good ES intake.
But anyway, will the carb fit? IIRC it's the same style, only a few MM bigger. I'm thinking the cam will swap out as well, not positive though.

Come one, nobody has the slightest idea?
Seeing if the carb will work is no problem, but I really want to know if anyone else has any clue on the 86 X cam, before I start opening engines.

from what i can tell from parts on ebay - who usualy list what they work in.. The ATC 185, ATC 200, ATC 200x from 1980-1985 use the same cam(or at least can be interchanged)
I've sent you a message with an intake boot you could buy for cheap.
It looks like the 86 uses a different cam.. but i would honestly see if it fits. Everyone said my dad couldn't put Honda goldwing 1200gl heads on the 1100.. and he did, runs like a bat out of hell lol

Well, I'm eventually gonna have to replace the cam cover gasket anyway. This'll be another first for me, fun fun fun.

Looks like the 86 200x cam has a ball bearing at one end, as opposed to the bushing you find on the 85 200x.
