Hi, does anybody know if a 1986 head will fit a 81 cylinder?. I think these engines are from the same series of engines, like the 81 thru 84 250r but not sure. Thanks, Sam

Wasn't the '81 air cooled and the '86 water cooled? That would probably make a differance. I'm not sure, my RM 125 was a '78 and I only had it for about a month.

I had a 80' RM125. The 1980 was the last year for air cooling and dual piggy-back rear shocks. 1981 was the first year for both water cooling & full floater single shock. As for the interchangablity between the 81 & the 86 I don't know. Try www.suzukionly.net.
