Its been awhile, but IM BACK! New Trike

Hey Hey!
Man i have been so happy since i got her home, my father always owned the 84 ATC 200es "big red". great machine for the farm, wheeling in the woods, pulling stuff. but my heart was always after the 250cc Big red. Well today was my day, yesterday my dad told me a friend from work wanted me to work on his 1985 250ES. showed up at his work today, talked with the guy he said to come down and take a look at her.

Showed up a couple hours later. took the tarp off of it (it was inside his garage tarpped) has brand new tires on the rear, everything is very clean, small chunk missing from the fender, seat in great condition, he is the only owner of it, has all the paper work and service manual from honda in 1984!!

He paid $1,978 dollars then

I paid $300 dollars now!!!!! its the freaking best deal i have ever heard of, had to take it. didnt care. its home now.. tomorrow i will start going through it. i will try and get pics later tomorrow as well.

Man, that's a clean 250ES. I am jealous. I wish mine looked half that good.

Thanks guys, you have no idea how happy i have been, been working all day on other peoples car and trucks, like 4 different people...lol so now i get a short break to work on the big red. going to start by getting the old gas out of it, then cleaning up the carb. then throw a NGK in there not a champion. got everything to do the oil change, then air filter...ect it never ends.

but i hope to have it running either late today or tomorrow. gotta go try it out on 50 acres they cleared down the street from me, lots of hills and cat tracks. should be perfect testing grounds

cleaned the carb and put the new gas in, started second kick. runs and shifts great. little wobble on the rear end, but cant notice it on dirt only on pavement. soo sweet!!! all my buddys are jealous

Damn, thats a real nice score!! 250es is one of my dream trikes well a 87 model is but still!! id take a 85!
