bought the 250r for 900, aftermarket parts include full system dg exhaust, boyesen power reeds, k&n air filter, douglas rims, razors on rear, pro taper handle bars, new rear plastics, powder coated frame. It does have a oil leak at the drive sprocket, and the rear shock leaks oil fro the res.it only has about 60-70% power till about 4th gear(but getting more power every gear). the other thing is it revs for good bit after you let of the throttle. after taking off the seat I noticed it is missing the tube from the air scops to the air box. would that effect power that much?

I pulled the jet and it is a 130. I have a 142 sitting around, could that be big enough or should I go bigger and work my way down(does anyone know a good size to start with?). This is my first 2-stroke and I want to get it right. thanks guys
