    86/87 Tecate swing arm

Are they any better than the 84/85 swing arm? I figured out my 85 has an 86/87 swing arm. When replacing the swing arm bushings am I to use the 86/87 or 84/85?. And I'm assuming the carriers are different between the two swing arms.

That's what caught my attention. I heard the 84/85 didn't, so I started looking at pics on bike bandit.

The 86-87 swingarm is also aluminum. To determine which generation carrier you have post up a pic. I would like to hear how they realigned the dogbone mount on the swingarm. The 84-85 dogbone is in the center, the 86-87 is offset.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

The dog bone is not part of the swing arm. I have an 86 adjustable dog bone on my 85 swing arm. He could very well have the same set up.

Awesome! I'm sure just like everything else with this thing, the dogbone mount isn't aligned properly. Guess I'll be looking for an 84/85 swingarm. I'll post pics later.

A couple of months late, but here's a picture. Doesn't look like anything has been realigned.
