Are they any better than the 84/85 swing arm? I figured out my 85 has an 86/87 swing arm. When replacing the swing arm bushings am I to use the 86/87 or 84/85?. And I'm assuming the carriers are different between the two swing arms.

The 86/87 have an adjustable dog bone... So yes there better

The 86-87 swingarm is also aluminum. To determine which generation carrier you have post up a pic. I would like to hear how they realigned the dogbone mount on the swingarm. The 84-85 dogbone is in the center, the 86-87 is offset.
